Tommy went above and beyond, after our patio was poured he came in and moved 9 yards of top soil from the front to the back, he compacted, graded, sloped, and raked it out so it drains away from the patio. Owner, Thomas, came in a timely manner to remove some stubborn architectural grass that was in area of my home that was very sensitive to all the underground utilities buried in a area of my property, he did all the legwork to have buried lines marked by the company who locates them, he did not leave job site till I was properly satisfied with his work, will be hiring this man in the spring to install dirt and seed in same area , photos are from before work was started, too much snow in area now to show after See more See less
We contacted Torres Lawn & Landscaping for a fall cleanup in 2023 and they did an amazing job. They trimmed all of our trees, bushes, etc. they removed all of our weeds and gave us some recommendations on how to care for our landscaping going forward. Our lawn in Valparaiso received wonderful mowing, trimming, and weeding. They were especially accommodating while I was out of town for a month and couldn't mow or take care of the lawn myself. Plus, I never seem to have both the time and energy to do weedwacking and Tom did an A+ job. Torres is a great local service, happy to meet customer needs. Tommy and his crew took care of my old ugly landscaping. Tore out old rock and weeds, put down fabric and new rock. He also took down an old overgrown apple tree that was part of that landscaping. What a great find! Just moved into a new home in Valparaiso and wanted to customize the landscaping. Saw Tommy doing some work across the street and asked for some advice. I recognized immediately his love for his work. We ended up hiring Tommy and Damien. They transplanted some trees, planted new trees, and transformed our home landscaping by removing all the mulch, bordering with natural stone and brought in 13 tons or our rock choice to fill in. Of course the put heavy duty fabric down first. We couldn't be happier with the end result and feel as though we made a couple of friends in the process.
